I Love Grandma and Grandpa!

After too many delays, Grandma and Grandpa Heuman came to play with tiny Ivy.

She had such a good time, and of course loved all the attention. Grandpa rubbed noses with her, and she always had a huge smile for him. Grandma made mashed potatoes of her, squeezing and kissing her as much as she could.

They visited campus with Josh, read and watched television, let us have a night out, and took us to a delicious breakfast on Saturday. We also took a trip to Target, and Grandma got Ivy lots of summer play clothes. There will be pictures of them in the next few months.

They brought new toys from Auntie Heather, and Ivy really loved this activity box. She shakes and turns it, and then she eats it. She also loves Grandpa's new Aggie hat -- I need to get one a little smaller for her for the summer. She can take it to France!

It was very hot on Friday -- 90F. Ivy wore pretty clothes from Fabindia via Auntie Heidi. The shoes came from Heather. Thank goodness she has relatives to give her things to wear.

We've been giving Ivy lots of exercise. Here, she's standing on her own (with the crib). She's just learned how to do this. We're working on her rolling. She's not very good at it yet (and I'm trying not to worry).

Josh takes such good pictures of Ivy. The afternoon light in our bedroom is really nice.

She loves to help us with our laundry. It's a good chance to play "where's Ivy?" Her smile as she pulls the blanket off is worth a million dollars.

If I'm not the prettiest baby in the world, I don't know who is.
