Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jog

We spent a busy week trying to get all of us back on track. It's been good to be home, but we really miss our family in France (and the goats). Ivy is polishing her grammar to get ready for her other English teacher gramma.

Ivy learned to move so much in France, and she moves so much more in our big house. She loves to climb into the fridge (we only let her do it this once), and we've been frantically baby-proofing.

She has a bit of a rash, and her poopy is a little loose. We've taken her off milk for three days to see if that helps, and taken her out of the bjorn in case the rash is heat/sweat-related. I took her to the doctor who suggested it was eczema, but I'm not convinced. It hasn't gotten better yet.

Her hair is back to being curly -- it was too dry in France. She's just such a pretty baby, even if her mouth is big and always open.

Her sleep is a little off, but we're not doing much about it until we get back from Chicago after her birthday (we can't wait!). She's mostly her sweet and sunny self.

It's been crazy hot (and will continue that way), so we've been to the pool a few times. Ivy is really getting to be a little swimmer. She is strong and quick, and just wants to have her whole body in the water all the time. I'm really looking forward to introducing her to Lake Michigan.

Like her Mommy and her Daddy, she wants a PhD in TV!
